ASPECT, the Association of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training,
is a provincial association made up of over 140 members who provide community
based employability and career training to people with barriers to employment.
The Association exists to facilitate resource sharing and problem solving
between agencies, promote good working relationships between agencies and
government and to coordinate professional development opportunities for the
management and staff of member agencies.

The Canadian Council on Social Development (CCSD) is a non-governmental,
not-for-profit organization, which was founded in 1920. Our mission
is to develop and promote progressive social policies inspired by social
justice, equality and the empowerment of individuals and communities.

The Canadian Society for Social Development (CSSD)

The Canadian Society for Social Development (CSSD), a federally incorporated
society.
Its mandate is to:
- to provide employment and skills training to persons facing barriers
to employment: persons with disabilities, aboriginals, youth, the
unemployed and individuals living in rural areas; and - to conduct research for the development of programs in the areas
of entrepreneurship, leadership and distance learning.

participate in the workplace. HRSDC provides federal-level management
of labour and homelessness issues, and supports students through
the Canada Student Loans Program.
