Kootenay Career Development Society is a non-profit society with charitable status operated by a volunteer Board of Directors and incorporated under the British Columbia Society Act.

We provide a variety of career development and employment services to the communities in Nelson and surrounding area including: Lower Slocan Valley, Salmo, Kaslo and the Crawford Bay and Boswell area. We are contracted through the Canada - Brtish Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement to provide a variety of employment services that meet the unique needs of unemployed and underemployed members of our communities.

As well, Kootenay Career Development Society is well-known for employment services for people living with a disability.We strongly support local employers and businesses within the communities we serve and encourage employers to post job openings on our web site.

Our Nelson office is conveniently located in the heart of Nelson’s downtown (above the Post Office).
