What are eServices?
eServices is an exciting new addition to Kootenay Career Development Society’s resources to help you build your employment future!
For individuals who want to have more choices in their employment search, eServices gives you another option – access to resources including your own facilitator. All of this is available using any computer that has access to the Internet.
eServices at KCDS can help you with:
- exploring your career options
- finding the right job
- learning about programs to help you gain the skills for work
- figuring out your next step
With eServices you will receive the same personalized service as when you come into our offices. And of course, you are always welcome to come into the office, too! (We may be able to reimburse you for the costs of childcare and transportation – ask us for details.)
Who Is Eligible To Use eServices?
- Unemployed or underemployed individuals who are legally entitled to work in Canada.
(Underemployed: working less than 20 hours a week.) - People living in Nelson or area. (please see map below for service area)
How Does It Work ?
With eServices, after you create a login and password, you are directed to your own personal Dashboard. Each individual will be assigned a Facilitator to assist you through your career development process.
Step 1:
Register Online here!
Step 2:
Once you have registered, you can login anytime - 24 hours a day/7 days a week. A facilitator will be assigned to you within 2 business days. Once a facilitator has been assigned, you can communicate with them through your individualized page – also called Dashboard.
What's The Cost?
It’s free! All the services at KCDS are available to unemployed or underemployed individuals who are eligible to work in Canada.
