Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (Closed from noon – 1 pm)
The Resource Centre provides services to all unemployed and underemployed individuals. We are a one-stop market for your job search and career exploration needs. Our resource library is filled with a wide range of Labour Market Information (LMI), which includes occupational outlooks, career trends, resume and educational information.
Our Resource Centre is equipped with computers and high speed Internet access. The Resource Centre is staffed by trained employment counsellors who will introduce you to electronic and other up-to-date job search materials.Specifically we provide:
- Bulletin Boards highlighting current job postings, training information, employment programs and workshops
- Assistance with career, labour market and educational research
- Assistance with accessing resources in the library (books, magazines, newspapers)
- Resume and cover letter advice
- 8 computers, scanner and a laser printer
- Access to the Internet
- Photocopy and fax services
- Employment Message Service for people without access to a phone
- Access to telephone (local & long distance calls) for job search purposes
- Access to online EI Applications

- Post-secondary calendars
- Samples of resumes and cover letters
- Career exploration information
- Labour market information
- Job search information
- Interviewing skills information
- Apprenticeship or trades information
- Student and youth information
- Directories and resource catalogues
- National Occupational Classifications (NOC)
