Kootenay Career Development Society has a team of trained employment counsellors
to provide you with personalized one-on-one career and employment planning.
Counsellors use a collaborative approach ensuring guidance and support during
your transition back to the workforce. They will assist you with an individualized
employment needs assessment and a realistic return to work action plan.
Employment counsellors assist you to identify your skills and abilities through assessments that highlight your gifts and talents, catalogue your successes and achievements and identify your employment barriers. They support you in doing your self-directed job search and point you towards relevant skill development training and employment programs.
