Employment Assistance Information Sessions
This travelling workshop provides access to KCDS employment services to the communities of Salmo, Kaslo, Crawford Bay, and Slocan. Our one-day job search workshops are given by professional career counsellors who will assist you in “fast tracking” your job search activities. You will learn:

Put Your Best Foot Forward
This specialized 5-day workshop is designed for unemployed individuals who have been trying to find work and are feeling discouraged. The purpose of this workshop is to foster a spirit of:
- personal awareness
- deep potential
- acceptance and to promote resiliency, healthy, positive attitudes, and life-long learning.

Skills Training-Information Sessions
This information session is specially designed for E.I. eligible participants who are applying for the Service Canada Skills Development Employment Benefit (SDEB). The session will cover all the eligibility requirements for the training assistance and will walk participants through the application process. It will also cover the information needed for the return to work action plan.
